7 Awesome Before and Afters
Plaster and Disaster updated their guest room.
Linda from Home is Where My Heart Is gave her “fishy” bathroom a nice update!
And this patio makeover at Pudel Design makes me want to go visit!
From our Facebook folks:
From Auston: “I made my pantry go from a framed out room with a bare floor to this. For about $500. Using a stock a wall cabinet, an IKEA table top (counter tops were out of stock), tile we matched to our master bath, maple ply, and some 13/16 poplar I had laying around planed to 3/4. The paint is SW Dover white on the walls an trim. The Proclassic Alkyd is so worth the cost because the application and finish is excellent.
There were places we could have saved more but this was an install for looks and quality over price.
The room was framed oddly with a 58* corner and a 22* corner on the far wall.”
From Carol: “I’ve got a small 1950 house with a horrible small alley kitchen and unfinished basement, which I had always planned to sell once my son graduated from high school (bought it for the school district) but then I decided why buy a larger house to clean when it’s just me now, so among other things I finally gutted the kitchen to the studs (and took out a wall) and spruced up the basement without actually drywalling the walls. Now my son wants me to move so he can buy the house.”
From Jennifer: “Fireplace before and after. The contractor ripped out the stone, sheet rocked the wall, then built the mantle and tiled. I had the idea but contractor executed.”
From Shannon: “This was an attic space A frame room in our new house we converted into a playroom. I got all the bins and shelfs baskets etc from ikea. Tore out the carpet and layed sheet vinyl with a rustic wood look to it. Turned out great, boys loooove it!”
